A last weekend’s break before the wedding photography season kicks off tomorrow in Manchester. We drove down to see Gareth and Jacqueline, then meandered around beautiful Exmoor and North Devon. Porlock Weir was breathtaking and could have happily spent the next couple of months stuck at Millers at the Anchor there – proper cosy smugglers cove stuff! Now I’m busy cleaning kit and prepping for Rory and Sam’s wedding at the Hilton in Manchester tomorrow – it should be a special one.

Personal // 2009 Highlights

2009 has been a long, challenging, but hugely rewarding year.

At the start of the year I took the step to set up Northern Light Images as a photography business after years of taking pictures for friends and family. It’s been an incredible privilege and a joy to photograph some amazing weddings, portraits and events this year, and to meet those of you I’ll be working with next year – there are some really exciting days ahead!
